Who are 543 Dencare plans for?

543 Dencare has partnered with DPAS Limited to design dental plans for patients looking for total peace of mind. Our three flexible plans give you easy access to regular appointments without waiting lists, and with the same dentist and hygienist wherever possible. This gives you enhanced preventive care and emergency assistance covered in one low monthly fee. 543 Dencare plans are administered independently by DPAS Limited.

How much does it cost?

We have three plans to choose from, tailored to meet the needs of our patients ranging from £16.75 per month to £29.25 per month.

543 Dencare covers all your essential visits and emergency care here and abroad. 543 Dencare Hygiene has quarterly rather than bi-annual hygiene visits, and 543 Dencare Plus, includes check-ups and hygiene visits, as well as fillings and extractions. Visit our Plan pages to read more.

If you’re abroad, your plan gives you access to the Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme, a 24-hour, 365-day worldwide dental emergency helpline, which will endeavour to find an English-speaking dentist to assist you.

How do I join?

To join 543 Dencare, you can fill in a short contact form, or simply call us on 01482 501010 or 07772 640585. The application process also includes payment authorisation and direct debit mandate sections. 543 Dencare Plus requires a dental check-up first and is at the discretion of the dentist. There is no dental check-up required to join 543 Dencare or 543 Dencare Hygiene.

Once we receive your application, a 543 Team Member will set you up and arrange your monthly payments. In addition to your first monthly payment, a one-off registration fee of £10 per person will be payable by you. This will be included in your first direct debit payment. Please note, all payments will appear on your bank statements to DPAS Limited, the plan administrator.

Do you need a check-up before joining?

You must be dentally fit to join 543 Dencare Plus, so you will be asked to come in for a dental check-up by a dentist. They will then advise the best plan to meet your needs. There is no dental fitness prerequisite for the 543 Dencare and 543 Dencare Hygiene plans.

How does the Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme Work?

We’ve partnered with The Worldwide Emergency Assistance Scheme to give you the peace of mind that everything will be taken care of, whether you’re at home or abroad.

  • A worldwide helpline, available 365 days/24-hours a day.
  • All the emergency numbers you need on one handy membership card.
  • The cost of dental treatment by any dentist up to a maximum of £10,000 for any one incident of dental trauma.
  • Emergency call outs when and where you need them.
  • The cost of:
    • emergency call outs
    • pain relief or emergency temporary treatment
  • Hospital cash benefit for every 24 hours if under the care of a dental or maxillofacial surgeon.
  • Cash benefit if diagnosed with oral cancer in a primary cancer site.

Whilst a member of the dental plan, should you suffer a dental trauma, a dental emergency or be diagnosed with oral cancer you will be eligible to make a request for assistance from the Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme.

Please note, the Worldwide Emergency Assistance Scheme reviews each case individually, and certain restrictions may apply. This scheme works on a discretionary basis, with no obligation to provide benefit unless the Scheme Manager confirms that the scheme should provide a benefit. There are some circumstances in which the Scheme is not designed to help (these situations being similar to exclusions under an insurance policy). The Scheme Manager will look at each case individually to assess the request for a benefit. Certain restrictions and limitations may apply in the event that your request for assistance is accepted and it is possible that in some cases the Scheme Manager will decide to provide no benefit.
